Biozyme-F50 & F100
For Marine & Freshwater Treatment

Purpose: For water treatment, Benefits of Biozyme-F50 and Biozyme F-100 is a combination of micro-organisms and enzymes for the purpose of controlling and maintaining water quality which have organic toxins built-up such as ammonia, nitrites, nitrates, phosphates, sludge, B.O.D. etc., in ponds and aquarium.

The build up of organic toxins as nitrated, phosphates, sludge, B.O.D. and others not easily bio-degradable by-products will still be present in an efficient biological filter.

The reason for this is because the nitrosomonas and nitrobacterium are the domineering bacteria populations in the biological filter and they caused the other essential bacteria's to under populate. This is why Biozyme need to be added, in order to maintain the other essential bacteria's population for the purification of the water.

In an artificial environment such as a closed system pond or aquarium, the ecological balance is a very delicate process--being dependent on many factors such as the size & amount of fishes, available biological surface area, turn over rate, oxygen content and many others.

Biozyme-F100 will removes Green Water and control filamentous algae, Maintains stable pH, removes ammonia, nitrites, nitrates, phosphates, hydrogen sulfide, sludge and other toxic biological by-products for Healthier fishes, invertebrates and aquatic plants.

With Biozyme most of these factors could be eliminated in conjunction with the proper equipment's installed. The bacteria's in the biological filter has a limited life span and they required special nutrients for reproduction which is always not available in a closed system except for the domineering nitrosomonas and nitrobacter.

Biozyme-F50 consists of a unique blend of micro-organisms and enzymes which are produce in a special process that have a shelf life of 30 months without losing its effectiveness. The selected strains of micro-organisms are not-pathogenic and are environmentally friendly. There are 12 types of micro-organisms and 8 types of enzymes.

These essential slow growing bacteria has to be replenished regularly otherwise the biological toxins will build up even through the water looks clear but clear water does not mean clean water and the major benefits of using Biozyme-F50 and F-100 are as follows:

No water change needed, eliminate smelly water and mud taste from fishes, Increase the oxygen content by reducing B.O.D. (biological oxygen demand), Biodegrades left over foods and faeces,  Removes Sludge. Biozyme-F100 contains 8 different types of micro-organisms and 4 types of enzymes and it is formulated for the control of green water and filamentous algae.

There is lot of algae build-up in my pond that lasts about six weeks. Would snails help to eliminate this problem? If so, can I use normal wild snails found in most outdoor lakes & ponds.

Can I raise Koi in an indoor 125 gallon tank and what are the possibilities for building a small indoor ponds in my apartment to raise Koi or goldfish?

Don’t Destroy Helpful Bacteria. Because the nitrosomonas and nitrobacter are the domineering bacteria populations in the biological filter.

Tiny Foods for Small Fry. Cultured live foods for fry include vinegar eels, baby brine shrimp, microworms and infusoria. Once fish eggs have hatched, you’ve only just begun the journey to breeding fish and raising their young.

How can I control the algae? My pond water becomes murky and over loaded with algae. My 10 ft X 5 ft pond contains six Koi fishes about 2 ft in length uses pH of about 7.0 rain water.

Using yeast fermentation bottle. You only need a couple of bottles to maintain good CO2 levels in a 92-gallon aquarium--great for growing fresh water aquarium plants and won't hurt your fishes.

Once fish eggs have hatched, you’ve only just begun the journey to breeding fish and raising their young. Cultured Live foods for fry include vinegar eels, micro-worms, baby brine shrimp, green water and zooplankton.

Vinegar Eels Cultures
Vinegar eels are great fish food. They are easy to keep, small in size (from 0.04 to 2 millimeters in length and 0.10 millimeter in diameter). Unlike microworms and other cultured foods, you can ignore your vinegar eel culture for weeks without killing off the culture.

A vinegar eel is actually not an eel — it is a non-parasitic roundworm (Turbatrix aceti) that can live in vinegar. Being a live food makes vinegar eels especially helpful in cases where fry will not accept prepared foods.
.

You can use a small glass eye-dropper syringe to suck and harvest vinegar eels to feed your fish fry.

Vinegar eels can live for a long time in aquarium water — often up to 24 hours, so they won’t pollute the tank water quickly and will provide a food that is available to your fry throughout the day.

Vinegar eels are so-called because they are cultured in apple cider vinegar. To prepare a culture, fill a large size jar half full of pure apple cider vinegar with no additives.

Fill the remainder of the jar with distilled or reverse osmosis water. Then add a half tea spoon of sugar so as to helps create food for the vinegar eels then add the eels cultures--which is available online or obtained through a local aquarium shop. Leave the cultures grow for about two weeks before harvesting.

Do Planted Tanks Require CO2? Beautiful aquatic plants growth depends on lighting. With low to moderate lighting, adding CO2 is not necessary.

Favorite aquatic plants are the swords of the genus Echinodorus osiris, they can tolerate temperatures as low as 60 F or 75 F degrees.

Pruning and Planting. fern, stem or rosette are not trimmed the same way, liverwort Riccia fluitans are trimmed by pulling or snipping a portion of the mass.

Freshwater Java fern (Microsorum pteropus) can suffer from Java fern melt if blue-green algae is present due to nutrient deficiencies.

CO2 is only a problem for fishes if you add too much to the water. A good level for plants is about 20 to 30 ppm. CO2 doesn't stress fishes until the level gets to be about 50 ppm.

Water Hardness, black or red algae affect your aquarium. Some sword plants growing from a riverbed that was pure calcium carbonate--yet, the swords were flourishing.

How to avoid having algae in your aquarium? Starve your plants and algae will grow. But can one feed the plants and avoid algae growth?

Healthy Plants Require Balanced Growing conditions. An unbalanced planted aquarium need a high level of lighting without adding carbon dioxide.

It can be challenging
to harvest vinegar eels. The vinegar that the eels live in is very acidic and can be deadly to fish, especially fry. Therefore, the eels must be removed from the vinegar. Given their small size you will need a small holes screen to allow the vinegar to pass through but not the eels, or you can use a glass eye-dropper syringe to suck and harvest them.

The long-neck bottle harvesting method involves using a bottle with a long and narrow neck. Fill the bottle with vinegar from the culture until halfway up the bottle’s neck. Then put in a cotton ball, pushing it down until it is in the vinegar, then add a little water above the cotton ball. The eels will move through the cotton into the water above, where they can be removed with a glass eye-dropper syringe.

Vinegar eels are great nontoxic food that is small and moving for newly developing fry because of their verity of sizes after being cultured--various types of fish fry can feed on them. However, you must remember that the cultured vinegar eels will not exist in sufficient quantity to act as your fry’s sole food source.
