Purpose: For water treatment, Benefits of Biozyme-F50 and Biozyme F-100 is a combination of micro-organisms and enzymes for the purpose of controlling and maintaining water quality which have organic toxins built-up such as ammonia, nitrites, nitrates, phosphates, sludge, B.O.D. etc., in ponds and aquarium. The build up of organic toxins as nitrated, phosphates, sludge, B.O.D. and others not easily bio-degradable by-products will still be present in an efficient biological filter. The reason for this is because the nitrosomonas and nitrobacterium are the domineering bacteria populations in the biological filter and they caused the other essential bacteria's to under populate. This is why Biozyme need to be added, in order to maintain the other essential bacteria's population for the purification of the water. In an artificial environment such as a closed system pond or aquarium, the ecological balance is a very delicate process--being dependent on many factors such as the size & amount of fishes, available biological surface area, turn over rate, oxygen content and many others. |
|
With Biozyme most of these factors could be eliminated in conjunction with the proper equipment's installed. The bacteria's in the biological filter has a limited life span and they required special nutrients for reproduction which is always not available in a closed system except for the domineering nitrosomonas and nitrobacter. Biozyme-F50 consists of a unique blend of micro-organisms and enzymes which are produce in a special process that have a shelf life of 30 months without losing its effectiveness. The selected strains of micro-organisms are not-pathogenic and are environmentally friendly. There are 12 types of micro-organisms and 8 types of enzymes. These essential slow growing bacteria has to be replenished regularly otherwise the biological toxins will build up even through the water looks clear but clear water does not mean clean water and the major benefits of using Biozyme-F50 and F-100 are as follows: No water change needed, eliminate smelly water and mud taste from fishes, Increase the oxygen content by reducing B.O.D. (biological oxygen demand), Biodegrades left over foods and faeces, Removes Sludge. Biozyme-F100 contains 8 different types of micro-organisms and 4 types of enzymes and it is formulated for the control of green water and filamentous algae.

Vinegar Eels Cultures
A vinegar eel is actually not an eel — it is a non-parasitic
roundworm (Turbatrix aceti) that can live in vinegar. Being a live food
makes vinegar eels especially helpful in cases where fry will not accept
prepared foods.
Vinegar eels can live for a long time in aquarium water — often up to 24 hours, so they won’t pollute the tank water quickly and will provide a food that is available to your fry throughout the day. Vinegar eels are so-called because they are cultured in apple cider vinegar. To prepare a culture, fill a large size jar half full of pure apple cider vinegar with no additives. Fill the remainder of the jar with distilled or reverse osmosis water. Then add a half tea spoon of sugar so as to helps create food for the vinegar eels then add the eels cultures--which is available online or obtained through a local aquarium shop. Leave the cultures grow for about two weeks before harvesting. |

The long-neck bottle harvesting method involves using a bottle with a long and narrow neck. Fill the bottle with vinegar from the culture until halfway up the bottle’s neck. Then put in a cotton ball, pushing it down until it is in the vinegar, then add a little water above the cotton ball. The eels will move through the cotton into the water above, where they can be removed with a glass eye-dropper syringe. Vinegar eels are great nontoxic food that is small and moving for newly developing fry because of their verity of sizes after being cultured--various types of fish fry can feed on them. However, you must remember that the cultured vinegar eels will not exist in sufficient quantity to act as your fry’s sole food source.Tiny Foods for Small Fry - Page: -1, - 2, Next- 3, - 4, - 5 Baby Brine Shrimp have been used in the hobby for years because of the ease of hatching and harvesting them and newly hatched brine shrimp make excellent food for young fishes..... continue Next 3
